Wife rented Sully while home today. Said I should watch it tonight, only a 24 hour rental. Probably check that out while wrapping gifts instead of the LOLanders.

And the streak is over. 14 straight 3rd period and OT goals allowed over 6 games until Lee notches one on the power play. Up 2 with 7 to play. We might actually win.

Outshot 50-28. Ugly win, but still a win. Puck was bouncing our way tonight -- Rask gave up two awful goals, mishandling pucks around his net.

A blip on the radar is this W. Buffalo up next again, I think. We're the isles up 3-0 in the third, then allowed 2? |

Aside, Sully is a real good movie. I read the book. And I don't recall some time of the stuff in the movie, maybe some poetic license, but still a good flick.

Won this game because Greiss was very good and Rask made two really ugly, lazy plays that gave us easy goals. Tonight was a gift from teh Bruins. They lost the game more than anything we did to win it. Although Greiss and Lee deserve credit for the win. |
