Don't know what it is, but this is a different team. Not sure if is is Weight or just a wake up call the guys needed, but they look really good right now. And I love the contributions from some of the young guys - Pelech, Mayfield, Beauvillers all were solid tonight. And withthe Flyers and Leafs both down big, we may be 3 out of a playoff spot when all is ssaid and done tonight.

That was a good game. Played hard for 60 minutes. A couple lapses here and there but not damaging.
I like how they score, and Greiss doesn't let in a goal within the next 2 minutes.

Don't know what it is, but this is a different team. So far, no doubt. Lets see if complacency sinks in or if Weight keeps them chugging along. At the very least they're fun too watch when sports are becoming scarce on TV.

Didn't sit back in the third. Kept up reasonable pressure.

At first I thought this was a just a little post-Capuano bounce, but Im now thinking its more than that. Maybe Weight has a refreshing style that has these guys playing motivated.

At first I thought this was a just a little post-Capuano bounce, but Im now thinking its more than that. Maybe Weight has a refreshing style that has these guys playing motivated. Biggest difference to me is just how much more aggressive we are without the puck -- attacking the puck in our defensive zone and aggressive forecheck to generate offense off of defense. Also seems like we are skating the puck into the zone more and less dump and chase. Hopefully that is Weight's influence and will continue -- but as always with this team, it will take more than 6 games for me to completely buy in. I definitely like what I am seeing, and I am enjoying watching this team right now.

yeah the buzzards are going to start circling. i have zero confidence that anyone in nassau or queens will be competent enough to figure out a real new home for the team. fucking idiots that redid the coliseum were too fucking stupid to keep it large enough for an nhl team. we'll all be dead before nassau could cut through all the red tape, environmental impact bullshit and nimbyism to get the team a real home here. the garden and barclays will never let a new competing arena happen in queens. there really aren't any good feasible outcomes

Sounded like Bettman was confident the isles would be in New York a few weeks ago.

Copy of the letter from the CT Governor to Ledecky/Malkin. I like that he offered up Hartford as an interim solution (as well as a permanent home). Even though I don't live in the market anymore, I would hate to see them leave the NY area (unless they chose to relocate to the northwest suburbs of Chicago).

A few months ago Bettman said no way to a team in Hartford, because Boston and New York are too close. But if you take one of the NY teams and move it to Hartford..... so you're saying there's a chance!

Gotta score on the PP, fuckers.
Now you're losing, when it should have been a blow out by now.
