Not making excuses for Berube. He acted like the period was already over, just like the other 5 guys on the ice.. You play until the final horn. They didn't, and they are losing. Yep! Didn't you say originally that you expected a 5-game lift from Weight. Well, you were wrong. It was 6 games and now back to the same frustrating team they have been all season. After 50 games, we know what they are. Completely schizophrenic team. Stretches where they look good and can beat the best in the league. but also stretches where they will lose to just about anyone. Just not talented and deep enough to be a real contender over the course of an 80 game season. Probably be in the 9-12 spot the rest of the way. Maybe they can sneak into the playoffs if they catch a couple of breaks, but I am not counting on it. |

I was busy, and recorded the game. I'll admit, after they were down 4-2, I fast forwarded to the end. A good 2 points desperately needed, but needed the 2 in regulation, the loser point for Toronto helps them a bunch.

I forgot about the game, and by the time I put it on it was 3 minutes left in the 3rd. Holy shit what a finish. |
