They miss the energy that the 4th line used to give.

2 moves that need to be made before Saturday's game:
- Bring Halak up. Bridgeport has not played since Sunday -- he should be well rested. They can't continue to throw Greiss out there every night. He ias jsut getting flat out beat too often, the guy needs a break.
- Bring up Pulock and sit Hickey. The guy was a nightmare out there tonight. Unbale to clear rebounds, flopping on the ic. He was awful. Pulock can at least move the puck around and maybe his presence can help teh power play, especially with Boychuk out.
Although at this point, I think anything they do is liekly to be too little too late. The playoffs are quickly slipping away. And how bad would Garth look if he does bring up Halak, Jaro plays well down the stretch.

Hickey has been downright awful for about a solid month now.

What happened? Our goaltending is a fucking mess. Coming into tonight: Since February 1, we have scored more goals than anyone else in the NHL, 67. Since February 1, we have allowed more goals than anyone else in the NHL, 72. I think Greiss is exhausted, and its time to bring back Halak.

Leafs win again.
Trying to make the last WC spot is a shitty time to go 1-4-1

Leafs win again. Trying to make the last WC spot is a shitty time to go 1-4-1 May as well come to grips with it. The playoffs are not going to happen this year. Dug too big a hole for ourselves in the early part of the season, and the goaltending fiasco (thanks, Garth) has limited this team all season. Too much to overcome. Fighting for our playoff lives and our hottest goalie is stuck in Bridgeport. If he has not been brought up yet, its not likely to happen at all.

I don't know who's been starting, but Halak may be back to being Halak.

"Team's (sound tigers) averaging 2.5 goals per game since Ho-Sang's call up, and were scoring at 3.1 goals per game beforehand, so that does seem to be a factor.
Halak's had 8 starts since Ho-Sang's call up, though, and has gone 2-5-1, with a 0.902 sv%, whereas McAdam has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.933 sv%, so it does seem like Halak's fallen off and that may be the bigger issue."

Ho-Sang is so much fun to watch. He looks like a star in the making.
Now lets pull out a third period comeback against these dirty Rags.

Rags played last night, isles had 3 full days off, and playing against Rags backup goalie. And losing. What a fucking surprise. This team looks like they checked out 2 weeks ago. Rose up to the 8th spot, and was like "whew, we made it. Let's rest."

I can't remember the last time I have cared less about a Ranger Islander game. Missed the first half, just turned it on late in the 2nd. Their recent skid has really brought back the apathy of the late Cappy era.
