Doesn't really matter the population will be mostly brown in 2050. Pres. Baron Trump will be married by then to his 3rd wife and be knocking his old mans wall down. Where do I sign? |

12 years of education are free and not taken advantage of which is why they are burger flippers in the first place. There are some people who will never be motivated beyond that. What good job does a HS diploma prepare one for? Good point. But what we have now bc of decades of sending children to college who didn't belong there is essentially a K-16 system that leaves people underprepared and in tons of debt. And that wouldn't change if we made college free. The supply would just be more saturated and the debt would just transfer from the student to the unborn. We send too many people in college. Have too many people studying subjects that don't produce jobs. Degrees take too long to get and cost too much money. The whole system needs to be redone. If you want to become a doctor I understand the years of school and training but for mostly everything else I believe you can learn what you need to know in about 2 years. The rest should be done with real world experience. |

What good job does a HS diploma prepare one for? Trades positions , electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, cops, firemen, and many other honorable jobs. Many of my clients are very wealthy and have only a HS diploma. They do work hard, provide a service, show up on time etc. Basic things. But more importantly...many in certain groups finish at or near the bottom of their class , not to mention the drop out rate.
