When Shonn Green broke that run for a TD in the AFC championship game against the patriots to put the game away. Watching Rex barreling down the sidelines to celebrate with the team in the end zone. You never see coaches do stuff like that. It was one of my best moments as a jets fan.

His number of wins and his weight went down at the same time. Coincidence?

Beating the two best QBs of the last decade in consecutive playoff games on the road was a pretty good memory. That was when we had some good players.

Maybe that's why so many jets fans can appreciate it.

Got to say one of my favorite moments was him running down to the endzone after Shonn Greene scored the winning touchdown, he was knocking everybody over against the Pats*. Classic Rex. That was especially great because you half thought he was going to reprimand Greene for excessive celebration, but he just celebrates with them instead.

I will miss Rex. He changed the culture here and made us relevant again. I hope with new change we will finally hoist the Lombardi trophy, but man did he bring us close. He really loved this team and he was the most passionate coach i have ever seen coach a team. Rex will be a HC again somewhere and if that team has or gets a capable QB, oh boy watch out NFL. Rex made us feel good those first few years. For whatever reason, whoever is to blame, things went sour here. It was a nice little run. I have a nervous excitement for the future. Lets see what unfolds in the coming weeks.

"So let's make sure we play like the fucking New York Jets and not some fucking slap dick team. That's what I want to see tomorrow. Do we understand what the fuck I want to see tomorrow?! Let's go eat a god damn snack!" My god. And to think, he sounded exactly like Hitman or some other Hampurite. Damn you Rex for going through with that lap-band surgery. You might as well have performed a lobotomy on yourself.
