Enunwa continues to be a bright spot on the season. Play of the game may have been the one on the first drive of the second half when he ripped the ball out of Jamar Taylor's hands to prevent a pick. On the other hand, if Q does not make the play, and Fitz opens up the 2nd half with a pick after a 3-14 first half, maybe Petty would have gotten his shot. Hard to blame him for playing, right? Not blaming Q at all. I love the way the kid has blossomed this season. He struggled in the first half with a couple of drops, but made some huge plays in the 2nd half -- TD reception, big play setting up another TD and the break-up. And realistically, based on everything we have seen and heard of Bowles and Gailey so far, I don't think Petty was getting into that game for any reason short of injury to Fitz. As much as I want to see what the kid can do, I dont think we see him until we reach 7 or 8 losses.

The first interception by a Jets linebacker in 46 games; Fitz may not be a very good QB but he isn't a pussy; Quincy E and Bilal P aren't quitting on the team; The Jets did not quit after a very poor 1st Half; The young receivers are beginning to show some improvement; When the O line can open a running lane Forte can make things happen; and In spite of still not knowing how to close a game the jets came away with a W.

Not the worst team in the league... still Cleveland.

Not the worst team in the league... still Cleveland. Surprisingly there are a lot of teams with the same or worse record than the Jets. Some have only played 7 games but still have only 3 wins - Bengals, Ravens, Browns, Colts, Jaguars, Chargers, Bears, Bucs, Saints, Panthers, Cardinals, Rams, 49'ers. Some of them were supposedly good teams, headed to the playoffs or even SuperBowl. So I guess you can say we're in "good" company

Fitz keeps leading with his head and he will no longer have the "Harvard Advantage" at QB

The Jets look like they sleepwalk through games until someone has to give them a pep talk. Looked bad against Baltimore and now Cleveland. At least Cleveland played with heart.

bright spots? probably the best second half the jets have played all season. i was fully expecting fitz to lay a real egg given his history of not playing well when coming from behind. that first td in the second half was super important. they don't score there and maybe they don't win. as for players, fitz played well enough. marshall caight some key passes as did enunwa and anderson. heck a tight end caught a pass. powell had some excellent runs and forte did too. on defense wilk got a sack on a key play and the dline did keep pressure on mcnown. pryor had two nice hits, one that prvented a first down and the other that caused the int by mauldin. gilchrst got and int. too bad he was touched by the receiver and went down before getting a good return. the special teams didn't allow any long run backs. edwards nearly muffed a punt. at least marshall tried some run backs on a couple of punts. I did not notice the Dline getting any pressure on anybody they did well enough to make mccown force some throws. granted they didn't knock him around but they did get pressure. and wilk did get a sack.

At least Cleveland played with heart. right. that's the real frustration. even in yesterdays game, they were up by 11 and really only needed another first down to ice the game. instead they let the defense try to stop the browns and they allowed a td. who knows with an onside kick. the game should never have come to it. here's to hoping they will play much harder against the doltfins and make sure they are beat.

Bowles was a bright spot for me, people are quick to jump all over him when he's coached a bad game but not much love when he does the right things.
He had balls on the 4th and inches call to put his faith in an offense that wasn't producing much up until that point, he won the challenge on the Barnage catch, and he lit their ass's up at HT demanding a win.
He as new HC finding his way with no real QB and let's face it not a very good football team. The players are the ones that strap up and go out there and it's the players I don't believe in not Bowles, they have holes just about everywhere and at the end of the day just aren't a very good team.
He will be a good HC given the time, roster and an above average QB. If players like Revis showed half the fire Bowles did at HT we wouldn't have a problem.
Just my opinion.
