Id be happy with Elliot wolf and holmgren with Ron staying on as a consultant for a couple years.

I wouldn't be against it.
The old bastard sure as hell knows QB's.
And judging by the reports, Woody wants a GM with a strong scouting/personnel background and a HC who is a recognizable name and is very detail oriented.
Holmgren would certainly fit the bill

He is old but his coaching resume is as good as anybody's. The only question is if he wants full autonomy.

He is old but his coaching resume is as good as anybody's. Let him come in and bring in a young oc who he can groom and take over after 4 - 5 years.

And I wouldnt be opposed to what you described. The only question for me is his personnel background b.c I think he wants a big say. So what will the power structure would look like with him as HC. If he would come aboard with a guy like Eliot Wolf and then stay on as a consultant after he is done coaching in a few years I would be OK with that. But I think Holmgren wants full control.

Not that old, though. Only 66. Marv Levy is 113, I think.

Bleh his track record in that role is questionable at best. It would be nice to grab someone to groom under him as a HC but even that might be difficult given the rules about lateral moves. Unless someone can think of a position coach that could be promoted to a coordinator job in the meantime. All seems a bit far fetched.

You are probably right but if there is anyone who he'd work with it would be ron and his son. It make sense and would be a good fit but id be surprised if it happens.

He is old but his coaching resume is as good as anybody's. The only question is if he wants full autonomy. His resume might be impressive but I'd rather go with a guy that is in touch with the times. He is old and a retread and I question his motivation. As a consultant like casserly and wolf fine but I don't want no part of Holmgren as a coach or a GM.
