At least the papers are ripping them today. NY Post calling for the firing of Bowles. I want Macc gone too. Team quit last night and the roster is full of old, overpaid losers who have never won a God damn thing and young untalented soon to be or already are busts. Fuck this franchise. Big changes need to come or they will lose the few fans they have left. Maybe it's a good thing that this happened on a Monday night with the VP-elect in attendance. No hiding from the reality now. Blow this roster up, get a football guy to take over and kick ass and start over. Team's an f'in disgrace.

I'll be interested in the forthcoming changes after he does the film review since the other main theme was he was going to see who wants to play. That automatically benches Mevis and Wilkerson.

I'll finish my participation in this thread by stating the obvious. This is an unmotivated, undisciplined team which was unprepared to play the Colts. I believe that Lee was calling the defensive alignments for the first time last night which obviously contributed to the wide open receivers, etc. However, I noticed one other thing which may explain more about this team than it appears on the surface. In looking at the Jets Web site they had a photo gallery of the players arriving to play the game. They all looked like slobs and bums wandering in wearing t-shirts, flannel shirts and jeans. This is part of the greater problem that this is an undisciplined team where players do whatever they want to do with no oversight by Bowles.

DW will have his issues transitioning to the NFL. |
