@jasonlacanfora: Esteemed personnel exec Scot McCloughan is weighing offers from at least 3 teams for prominent front office positions. Has much to mull...
I know the Redskins are one of them

I know the Redskins are one of them I hear the Raiders are one according to a friend, he seems to think Mckenzie is on the outs in Jokeland. Maybe on our radar, he's an ex Ron wolf Green Bay guy.

@briancoz 54s54 seconds ago Both Ryan Pace and Chris Ballard have declined to be interviewed for Jets GM job, a source confirms. #nyj Just hire Maccagnan or Kirchner already Maccagnan or Mueller works for me. I like the sound of Grier also, but if Marrone is the coach then M&M would seem like the two front runners for GM.

I wish they would hire someone already. And I could care less who the new GM wants as a coach. What I care about is how he intends on finding the Jets a QB. The final 8 QBs standing in the NFL are:
Rodgers Manning Brady Luck Flacco Wilson Romo Newton
Who the fuck cares who coaches these guys. They can win big games with a "competent" coach. They don't need a boy genius. BTW, these QB's have won 7 SB's, soon to be 8.

Then we can complain about the Jets making the wrong decision. All jokes aside, I feel good knowing Wolf and Casserly are heading up this task force. I hope they get it right.

@jasonlacanfora: You can add NYJ to OAK and WSH as the teams to reach out to Scot McCloughan for prominent personnel position. We'll see if he is interested
He could be the most qualified guy that is available, as long as he is sober.

Hire him and Quinn who know each other from Seattle and call it a day.

Are the Jets interviewing for just a GM, or are they also looking for other front office/scouting positions? Is it possible they will hire a GM and/or Director of Pro Personnel or Director of College Scouting?

The college scouting guys generally don't get changed around until after the draft though.
