I leave for a little while and you guys start fighting? Come on bros. I think what porgy was saying is that America shouldn't be imposing our values on other, very different cultures. I tend to agree. We've tried that before and it hasn't worked out so great. As for the good ol' US of A - our country, our values and we call the shots. You come here, then hop in the melting pot and assimilate mo' fo's, and we will take the good parts of your culture and assimilate those into Americana - kinda like how when the Italians came over and pizza is now American's favorite food.

In fact, I got into an argument with some real Italians right of the boat who opened a new Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale recently. They were saying that chicken cutlet parmasen isn't a real Italian dish that they have in Italy and I said, no shit - the Italians who came here 100 years ago took their recipes and styles of cooking and adapted them based on what the Americans had available. AND, by doing that, they made something fucking amazing.

Exactly. And I couldn't have said it better myself. It's why I chuckle when I hear things like "they want Sharia law in the USA". No woman here, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Catholic, Jew, our even Muslim, wants this. I know a few Muslim ladies (3). Each of them is highly educated and professional. 2 were born here, the other immigrated as a child from Guyana. The thought of being subservient to anyone is incomprehensible to them. 2 are married with kids. The third is divorced. And incredible in the sack. But I digress. Like I said, I'd be highly surprised to find any women looking for Sharia law here.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. That Cumbaya shit that you're preaching doesn't float. Cutting off women's clitoris's beacause it's culturally acceptable isn't ok. Treating women like dogs, killing people for their sexual orientation, or enslaving other human beings because it's culturally acceptable in other parts of the world is not acceptable.

These Middle Eastern and African countries that have these barbaric practices need to be shunned by civilized Nations. They need to have economic sanctions placed against them until they change.
