Between the drunks/crazies in the ER and jail, I am able to understand every word.

No way from me, too. So easy to get lost and dead. There are catacombs under Paris. Parts are open to the public, the rest is offically closed but are accessible through various secret entrances. When I was a young 'un I went through them with a group of friends and one dude who knew his way around. Parts were really sketchy basically going through crawlspaces where you could get stuck. The possibility of getting lost was very real. Plus hearing other groups in the tunnels and wondering "what kind of dickheads are wandering around down here a Saturday night at 3 AM?"... Glad I did it for the experience, would never do it again.

But there's a very real underground culture. Some people love to go down there. There are kilometers of tunnels under Paris, it's swiss cheese donw there. Some go down to party, some are genuinely interested in the historic aspects. You do find some bones here and there. A lot of it was like speleology which I now know is not for me. Was the only time I've ever felt claustrophobic crawling through spaces thinking "wtf am I doing here?". Funny part, after hours of walking through tunnels, seeing some interesting parts (there was a small altar in one area where workers would go to pray), we had waded through water, gone through tunnels...end up in a sort of technical room of the subway system, up a ladder, open a manhole, and we were in the middle of a sidewalk.

Sounds cool and yet creepy. I like it. Here’s the movie I saw - horror movie (of course) about the catacombs - As above, So Below:: m.imdb.com/title/tt2870612/

I'll try and find it, thanks.
