Get on there! I've had some bad luck and shit happen in my personal life that required full attention so I've not been around lately. When I did check in, pretty dusty and dead. way more draft dicusssions going down on twitter presently. Hope all is well. It's not, but thanks. Draft is going to be a welcomed distraction

2 good years does not get a player into the HOF. HOF voters love stats and rings, neither of which Revis has. Poor quality trolling. I expect better from you. He has a ring, he is an all-time great, and he will waltz into the HOF. But you already knew all of this. I miss you from the other board, you were very good. Revis had the best 2 years that I ever saw a CB ever had. With that said, he is no where near Sanders, Greene or Woodson over a CAREER. Hell, Joe Klecko was a All Pro / Prowl Bowl player at 4 different positions. Is Klecko in the HOF?

TX isnt as crazy as he sounds. I think a real argument can be made for Revis not making the HOF as I have stated in past threads.
That being said he has crazy cachet and was a media superstar. He will get in easily.

Ty Law didn't make the Hall of Fame. I'm not sure Revis should. The window was too short for him. Yes, 2 to 3 super elite years. In my opinion no CB ever played better than he did in 2009-2010. But he's fallen off a cliff the past year and doesn't carry around the type of incredible stats that others have. For example, single season INTs.....Revis isn't even in the Top 12 for the Jets. You know who is 3rd?....fucking Ty Law. That's right, he had 10 INTs as a Jet in 2005. Revis can also thank Pete Carroll and Tom Brady for his sole Super Bowl ring. And please don't give me the, "Well, he was so good that QBs didn't throw at him and that's why he didn't have a lot of INTs." That's a crap argument.....It's like me saying I never threw a single interception as a NFL QB....because I didn't throw passes in the NFL.

Fuck a "single season" anything. Career wise, Revis > Ty Law. His 2-3 super elite years were better than most recent CBs careers in the past decade or so. Him turning "Revis Island" into a brand will also help his HOF path. Can't say he wasn't always a topic when he was a free agent.

If you don't think his lack of "stats" isn't due to the incontrovertible fact that he was NEVER thrown at then we watched a different player. He completely shut down one side of the field. Only Deion was better than him. _

Nnamdi was great too. Is HE a HOF? Because Mevis may have become even worse, so Nnamdi must be better

He sucked in TB and NE and again with us, HOF for being a shut down corner for 3-4seasons. Anyone would think he was playing at a high level in his late 30's like Champ Bailey or Woodsen they way the go on. He's 31 and can't even play the position anymore.

Revis was a 4 time first team All Pro and should have been 5. He was a 7 time Pro Bowler which is not as dispositive because often times it's a popularity contest but still. And Defensive Player of the Year once.
He is a shoe in first ballot HOFer.

Not to mention TD had the best run blocking scheme of all time, and played in the RB era. Revis shut down the field in a much pass happier era, should have been DPOY and as a ring. Like I said before an argument can be made that he souldn't make it based on length of dominance, but he will definitely get in. Maybe not on the first ballot though.
