Another guy that had a great combine that no one is talking about is TJ Watt. He would also be a fit for our defense.

Outside of Jordan Willis and Haason Reddick he had the best day of all the other LBs. His type backs it up too. He's not just living off his last name. He's someone I'd look to take in the 2nd round.

Numbers wise he was arguably the top performing LB at the combine(Reddick whom I love was lumped in with the DL). His problem has been injuries.....I think I'd wait another round.

I hope he lasts that long, but I think he's in that 45-60 range of picks. If we got Cleveland's second round I'd have no problem pulling the trigger at 52. Also Idk why they put Reddick with the LBs. The kid can play almost any LB position. He can be a Sam, Will, MLb in a 3-4, OLB in a 3-4 if you need him to, and put his hand in the dirt on obvious passing downs. Just like Peppers is a safety.

Haven't seen any of rhe combine today. How'd he do? He tested well and came off as someone who really loves the game. I think he's gonna be a great pro. Now, I'm not a fan of taking Safeties in the 1st round, but this guy just seems to be something special.

Also Idk why they put Reddick with the LBs. I don't understand either because he will be a LB at the next level. The Senior Bowl staff always gets the conversions right, I'm not sure why the combine can't.

If he falls to the 2nd and we draft him, great.....first round fuck no.

It would have been a travesty if they only let him do the LB drills. Like you I see him as a 2nd round pick. He's an in the box safety that can cover near the line of scrimmage. I feel like he'd get lost if I actually had to cover down the field. We already have someone like that in Pryor except Peppers is a much better tackler.

When they interviewed Peppers during the telecast today, he sid he was told that he would be with the Linebackers since that is where he played most this past season. He asked and was given permission to work out with the DBs tomorrow as well. Probably a similar deal with Reddick -- he played DL at Temple so he worked out with DLs.

But it's different because Reddick didn't work out with the LB's, he only ran through the DL drills. A position that he will not be playing at the next level because of his size.

Maybe Reddick did not ask to work out twice the way Peppers did. Anyway, aren't the DL drills and LB drills very similar, and they are back to back on the same day.

His punt return ability adds to his value.

You see more coverage drills with the LB's, something that Reddick would have shined in. The back to back on the same day could be a huge factor.....I just wished they worked him out at the position he'll be playing. He's not playing DE or DT at the next level, so why work him out there. It's an aspect that the senior Bowl crew always gets right.
