Hoping the new acting Director of DHS in in lockstep with Kelly. He has made a ton of progress in just 6 months. She was nominated by Trump but worked under Bush and Obama.

John Kelly replaces Priebus as Chief of Staff Nice I wasn't thrilled with him as CoS but I could understand it. You can't get someone more outside the Swamp then Trump and who knows the Republicans better then Preibus. It's just sad that he couldn't set aside his own agenda and support the President. A wet dream would be this starts the dominos that sees both Ryan and McConnell ousted. Reince kicked ass as Chairman of the RNC. Major gains made on the local, state and national levels. The RNC has 37 governors. I knew he didnt want Trump as the nominee but I thought he came around and realized Trump was the only one that could win. For whatever reason he tried to continue his own agenda. An agenda the voters rejected. And it was painfully obvious he was the leaker. The only person that didnt get any bad press. |

I know it would never happen but I would love it if Trump announced he was switching to another party before the 2018 election. Shit would totally hit the fan then.

You're trying to imply NYC would never let a republican businessman like trump with his current political views build in their city, so he had to pretend to be a democrat all those years, correct? My point is the city is willing to accept republican views since they've had 20 years of a republican in office to represent that city prior to the current doofus in office. So exactly why wouldn't they let him build? |

Giuliani ran against Dinkins...do you remember what NYC was like when he was mayor? That guy was fucking terrible and Giuliani still lost to him the first time. A lot of Democrats didn't want him to run again because they knew he was going to lose. Bloomberg, even with all his money, picked up the republican nomination easily, something that wouldn't have been guaranteed had he tried for the democratic nomination.
Being a developer in NY is a cut throat business. Why would a guy like Trump make his views known when those views could impact his business severely? You're gonna tell me that if Trump was developing a project right now in NYC with his views that DiBlasio wouldn't fuck him every chance he got? Please.
