Had to get ahead of the Jets for that one. Didn't trust those pricks not to take our guy. That about wraps it up for CLE for the next 60 picks. 2 pieces on D and 2 pieces on O.... looking good brown town. I was thinking about taking Engram for the Broncos and Raiders. He's going to be a beast. I knew you'd take him before my 2nd pick. It came down to Lamp or Engram for me at the Jags spot. I had a hunch that's who you were wanting to trade up for and I almost pulled the trigger just for that fact alone. In the end though I wanted to do what I think the Jags would do and I could 100% see them going Forenette then Lamp when the draft rolls around. |

Bah. didn't realize you guys picked through the weekend. I was hoping King or Melifonwu would fall for the Seahawks. They don't draft CBs early anyway, but King was ranked so low on your spreadsheet I went for Bolles and hoped he might drop if people used it. My main problem now is that they need a CB, but I only have a bunch of 3rds and many of the guys I like for them are ranked lower. Guess I should move down, but maybe I will just reach.
Anybody wants one of their comp 3rds, make me an offer. I have a bunch of priority FA types I'd just as soon draft. I think the last JN mock I was in I picked Will Tye and Akeem Hunt and those don't even go 7 rounds. I knew Tye wouldn't be drafted but why not?
I will check back in tonight. I am probably safe for the weekend at 58, but I don't want to hold you guys back if you make it there before Monday am.

We may get to 58 tomorrow afternoon/evening. If you are not going to be online tomorrow and you want to PM me several options for the Seahawks if we get to them. The weed thing alone makes him Randy Gregory v.2.. but if he pans out, the upside is lethal. I think you gotta take a chance here and there. No one ever won a superbowl with gangsters on the 53 |

I would say the bust rate is much higher for players of his ilk. |

I would say the bust rate is much higher for players of his ilk. Agreed, but I'll take a chance on character, over reaching on talent x1000. There was nothing i felt like was worth the #38 pick. The corners I preferred that high, gone. Safety? no. OT -- laughable with who was left. I'm guilty of not watching a lot of tape on some of the other OLBs and Dlineman though. |
