I didn't hear anything concrete from the guy Raoul, maybe it was the translator. I think you are screwed with either candidate with regards to your economy, but at least LePen is realistic about the threat that Islam is presenting to your country. I'm sure the French will decide what is best for France. It is a most disheartening notion that the nations of the world seem to be devoid of any real leadership. T he choice is often between a career establishment politician beholden to the money behind politics and a crude nationalist. The reason I say crude is because the establishment crucifies nationalist-type candidates so relentlessly that only the strongest can withstand the cascade of negativity, leaving a candidate who is somewhat tone deaf because they only got as far as they have because they simply do not give a a shit about what is said about them. Totally agree.

My favorite part was when Macron was explaining his economic policy, he held up a piece of note paper and said a worker gets his gross pay and then after his "social contributions"... he then when into a long diatribe about taking money from here and giving it to there.... LaPen responded by saying with you socialist it's never someone's money, it's always your money to do with what you want... That part, while broing and technical is the big difference between them. Our budget is in deficit. He explained how he would finance everything he would try to put in place (wether it's credible or not is a different story). Le Pen throws out candy without explaining anything. Yes. She has no idea how to run an economy, but perhaps the general idea of greater economic freedom she promotes would be better for France's economy than some beuracrats plan. But, she did a poor job making that point. Actually, I'm not sure she ever did. Bottom line. You like the EU, you vote Marcon. You don't like the EU, you vote LaPen.

Interesting. Just seems to be a suicidal attitude. The folks pouring into European countries under the banner of refugee are not there to assimilate, preserve and get along. Their very core beliefs dictate disdain for non-muslims and women. How can you pretend otherwise? Attack after attack after attack, there, here...its coming Raoul...how do you think a fucking guy like Trump got himself elected? TBH I think Islamist scum want her to win because it would no doubt create even more tensions and prolly push more kids towards radicalisation. JMO Placating them doesnt work, they think primitively and only view that as weakness and opportunity. Its that simple. How many attacks and thwarted plots did we have under the Obama admin. ? How did that work out? How has it worked for Merkel? How has it worked in Sweden et al. The Devil is not at the door, it is in the door. The ones who arent actively engaged, implicitly support those who are either with silence or financial support. When the storm comes, they certainly wont be remaining neutral. These are unpalatable, ugly truths. We are only a few million years removed from Apes, we are a tribal violent species. Civilization as we know it is an illusion that must be maintained, not assumed nor taken for granted. Wish it werent so, but even a casual observer of whats going down in Europe and here.....has to see this cannot be placated away.

Then how come there are still apes? Million years?!?! LOL It only took God 6 days to create the universe 6,000 years ago, chooch. Earth is flat.

Raoul, can you explain this 48 hour media blackout to me? Why do you need him to explain it to you? Some countries ban reporting right before elections to minimize influencing the vote.

I'm hearing conflicting stories about what's allowed and what isn't. Like if you post shit on Twitter and Facebook you can be arrested. I just want some clarification.

Like if you post shit on Twitter and Facebook you can be arrested. I just want some clarification. This is easy to research, Social media is separate and the issues are unrelated. The media blackout concerns itself specifically to elections but there is an EU code of conduct where FB et al are supposed to voluntarily remove what the EU considers prohibited (hate speech, child abuse) content without penalty lawmakers in Germany and UK want to fine them. Disgracefully, Bottom line there is no legal speech freedom there speechwise as we have here.some discussion : foreignpolicy.com/2016/07/07/europes-freedom-of-speech-fail/elpais.com/elpais/2017/01/30/inenglish/1485772786_432779.html
