Lets be honest here, this is an undersized DL from DIVII football getting drafted. I'm really freaking confused.

Let me be the first to say, this draft is REALLY underwhelming. Drafting a guy that shouldn't be drafted. I live in GA, my best friends all went to West GA, I've never heard of this kid. You guys talk a lot of D2 football? Actually yes because Kennesaw State is everyone's favorite local football team and they are DII. But that's besides the point, considering they're WG alumn I would have thought that if they had a bad ass player with the prospect of getting drafted in the NFL, in the high 6th round mind you, that I would have heard SOMETHING about him before today. You feel good about this?

Mac really hates to draft RBs ...zero drafted since he became the GM I believe.. Until now. Elijah Mcguire, ULL. draftanalyst.com/elijah-mcguireElijah McGuire
Running back SCHOOL: LA-LAFAYETTE | CONFERENCE: SUN BELT HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 5-9.5 / 214 | 40: 4.52 | DRAFT YR:2017 Rankings GRADE 3.57 PROJECTED ROUND 4th Bio: Four-year starter who earned Second Team All-Sun Belt honors in 2016 with 1,127 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 232 carries and 29 receptions for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Named Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt as a junior after carrying 209 times for 1,047 yards and 13 touchdowns with 304 receiving yards and three scores. Won Sun Belt Player of the Year in 2014 when he rushed for 1,264 yards and 14 touchdowns on 166 carries while adding 45 catches for 468 yards and two touchdowns. Earned First Team All-Sun Belt honors as a true freshman by leading the nation with 8.4 yards per carry, rushing for 863 yards and eight TDs and adding 384 yards and three scores through the air. Pos: Versatile running back with potential as a rotational ball carrier or third-down specialist. Creative, makes defenders miss in the open field and is effective running after the catch. Works runs, keeps his feet moving and falls forward when tackled. Displays outstanding running vision, finds the open lanes and shows fluidity cutting back against the grain. Patiently waits for blocks to develop then effectively follows them everywhere on the field. Runs terrific pass routes while separating from defenders, tracks deep passes in the air and shows soft as well as strong hands to pull the ball in. Competes to come away with the contested catch. Neg: Not a strong back who’s going to break many tackles or pick up yardage off initial contact. Lacks the ability to run to daylight. Analysis: McGuire is an underrated prospect and, though not a feature ball carrier at the next level, offers the makings of a rotational back. He can be used as a pass catcher not only out of the backfield but down the field as well. He has some athletic limitations but will produce at the next level in the proper role.

Hey guys, I liked the Hansen pick based upon value. Leggett was a nice get, I always noticed him when I watched Clemson. I don't know shit about Donahue.

There you go! I've liked McGuire the last few years. He's one best pass catching RB in the draft.

Someone's God son maybe? I'm sure Bowles played against his dad back in the 80s. "He's real tough. His dad was tough. We liked him there at that spot, can't believe he fell to us."

Thoughts on McGuire, draftniks? Potential to be a solid 3rd down back -- not a feature back, but a young guy to replace Bilal Powell in a year or two. He will probably get a shot to be our punt returner this year.
