I spent a week driving for the Nick Cage/Lisa-Marie entourage; and I drove The Couple. I was almost married to LMP's "Head of Security" as he attached himself to me everywhere we drove - Napa; Sonoma, Mitchell Brothers, cute roadside cafes and white-hot restaurants. Mitchell bros? what that can't be right. Nick (bless his weird self) plays Sabbath Master of Reality when he gets to his SF home.
but I'll never put this in writing

The best was driving Friday nights for the Four Seasons SF. I am looking at the biggest MF I have likely ever seen; he and his party get in the car. They talk, they laugh, I know where we are going...and then Trace Armstrong asks me if I know the destination...
"Sure thing..."
"Wait....where are you FROM?" and his evil eye gets going.
"Shea Stadium!"
"DAMMIT! A Jets FAN! wtf!"
"Mister Armstrong, did you want to stuff me in the trunk now...or when we get over by that big crowd there?"
lolZ all around

I met Derek Sanderson a few times. Other than that,"nobody I would say "I met". I said hello to a few famous people who were polite enough to say hello back but all the while I could see the "Who the fuck is that shithead!" in their faces. I was a big Derek Sanderson fan and all those Bruins but, behind Namath and Donn Clendennon, Bobby Orr is my all time favorite athlete. Would love to meet him some day. _ I got a few Sanderson stories. Now he just tries and sell you his shitty investment products. But good for him.

Charlie Thornton of Thornton Tomasetti. Smart guy.
William LeMeasure of Citicorp building fame. Serious and funny. Said "I had two choices. Confront the problem or drive my car in to a highway bridge abutment"

Senator Bob Menendez on a couple of occasions (he's nice)
Congressman Albio Sires (He can barely speak english)
70s rock artist Tommy James (cool guy)
I'm pretty friendly with Candy Maldonado, the ex baseball player. His daughter is my wife's best friend.
Eric from Entourage (I was hammered, but he was absolutely tiny in person)
I've hung out with ex UFC champ Ricco Rodriguez a bunch of time (cool guy, but a little nutty)

And you're right. Tiny. But a nice guy. Part of DiCaprio's "Pussy Posse" from back when.
