It's been going up for years. The market has tripled since it's low in 09.

So you must think Obama is responsible for the 11,500 points and 270% growth since 2009 up to that magical day in November then, right?

Invested billions and it took eight years. Although I would warn against conflating the stock market and the economy. A lot of people on main street have not benefited from the stock market going up.

I don't think the market has ever risen like it has over the last 8 years than anytime in it's history. 320% growth in only 8 years is unheard of. What's been going on since the crash has been historic. But I agree. The stock market is not real life. It doesn't create jobs and it doesn't put food on the average american's dinner table. Middle America probably doesn't even have money outside of retirement funds invested in it. I bet most Americans don't even know the difference between a stock and a bond. It's all just paper money anyway. Market is over-inflated and long overdue for a correction. Expect one in the near future.

But if they ever get around to the tax cuts then I think it will continue to go up.

You're probably right. Forget that he inherited a complete disaster of an economy thanks to bush. The market is no where near where it is because of the obama admin and their tighter banking/lending regulations, infusion of money into a dying american automobile industry, bank bailouts, low lending interest rates, etc. Forget that he inherited a market on the upswing and at an all time high. The market is where it is today because of trump's 5 minutes in office and all the great things he's done so far like.... You guys are too much. Keep sipping that orange kool aid. I obviously think the guy is a complete bozo, but i do hope Trump does well for this country and ecomony, but today's market has absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

Got it. And then we forget about Obama's 8 years and give credit to trump for doing absolutely nothing other than having a policy, a policy that isn't even in place at the moment? He inherited a stock market an all time high, but it's where it is because of him and the couple months he's had this job. Right... Do you see a common pattern here in your thinking?
