Michael Irving is hysterical. I think Carl, though I like him, would be a bit dry unless paired with a nut. All I know is, I dont want to hear Carl or Joe Benigno doing a live read of a commercial ever again, they are both horrible. Bengino's shaving spots are especially dooshy and clumsy. Same sh*t every day, cringe-worthy. Benigno is impossible to take. Same schtick for the last 20 years. Plus he sounds like a complete dope. if thats the case why would they change the format? Because they are all dying out. Without young guys listening, that format/station dies. Most young folks don't get their sports fix on radio.again then why would they change format?... |

I'm liking the return of Gregg Giannotti as a fill-in. Funny guy, quick on his feet, does great impressions of the other FAN hosts, sports-guy.. and Boomer likes to bust his balls. I think his history there, plus the fact that he's a local guy, gets along with the management there (including FAtcessa), knows the hands-on call-in business already (making it alot easier for Boomer) makes him a real strong candidate. You can see Recco seeing his shot fade, lol.

Happy about Gianotti replacing Carton. Funny dude, good balance to unfunny Boomer and stick in the mud Jerry. Fatcessa's replacement trio of Carlin, Bart Scott and Maggie Gray...I'm completely meh on. Scott is a fuckin tool who is an enormous hypocrite for the way he treated the media when he didnt need a job...and the last time I saw Gray paired up with someone she was just yap yap yapping away with her partner sitting there with that stunned, glazed-over look that husbands get when their wives are talking about switching from curtains to blinds. Carlin I'm meh on as well. Sounds like it might be 3 mouths yelling over eachother trying to create "buzz".
Too bad they couldnt work Brian Jones in there somewhere, he's what Scott wants to be but aint...actually funny and energetic.

The best was a few weeks ago they had Michael Rapaport on with Boomer. That’s the ticket right there. They should offer Michael a full time gig with Boomer. It was a real good combination.
Gianotti sucks a fat one.

Gianotti sucks a fat one. Rapaport is good as a guest, but over-all he's too A.D.D, attention-seeking combatative..too much like Carton..to work with Boomer full time. Plus he's a busy working actor so no way would his schedule work with a full time gig in that slot. Boomer's also exhausted from all his gigs, so I think he likes having an experienced radio-hand like Gianotti around to keep the spots moving, handle callers and keep the show afloat when he misses one occassionally. Rapaport would be a train-wreck. |

Sid Rosenberg has been piling on since the announcement, saying Carlin only has a job because of him, Scott sucks and doesn't understand what the chick brings to the table. Said they are just holding the seat warm for him until he gets there in 2019. Not sure what the 2019 time frame means. _ |
