Anyone else wanna smacked the Giants HC? He just seems like a smarmy doosh. Looks like one of those guys at work who talk loud so everyone can hear what they did this weekend. You just want to elbow the fartlicker right to the side of the head.

Houston knows how to scout linebackers. They're all so good.

Giants 0-5 No OBJ, Marshall and Shepard banged up. They're on the franchise QB fast track currently. Can you imagine this place if they draft Darnold or Rosen? Yikes. As long as we can somehow lock up McCown long term, who cares? _ We should have drafted Watson. Faaaaack.

Rough opening drive for the Houston defense -- both Watt and Mercilus heading off with injuries. Didn't look like JJ could put any weight on his leg, does not look good.

Marlon Mack had 2 TDs today for Indy. He's gonna be really good.

Alex Smith is playing out of his mind.
I'm thinking 3-4 years from now he could be ours.

He has nothing to prove Someone on the Giants board suggested they trade him to Jacksonville. I could see that happening with Coughlin there. Peyton left Indy so I could see it happening.

Alex Smith is the early favorite for MVP.
Be too funny Smith v Rogers in the Super Bowl.

Or you take Luke Falk, who is essentially the same QB, and not have to root for the team to suck big hairy asshole for the foreseeable future. I'm his biggest fan. You don't have to convince me of that. _ That's part of my point, though. Because the more I watch of them, the more I'm convinced that Darnold/Rosen aren't some sort of infallible prospects. Top 5 worthy QB's? Sure, I'd say so. But "surefire, can't miss" prospects? I'm becoming less and less convinced by the week. I never saw a kid like Andrew Luck consistently, week by week, make the kind of silly ass decisions that a Sam Darnold makes. Kid will make a couple of bigtime, NFL throws every week that make you nod your head with an emphatic "YES!"...but then he makes a couple of throws every game that make you scratch your head as well. If the Jets were 0-5 or 1-4 right now, I'd be banging the "tank" drum along with everyone else. Fuck, I was one of the biggest tank supporters until last week when it became abundantly clear to me that this isn't a bottom 3-5 team in the league. Let's face it...the Jets simply aren't as bad as we were lead to believe entering the season. This is the youngest team in the league, hands down, that also happens to be scrappy as hell through the first 1/4+ of the season. Falk is built in that Chad Pennington/Alex Smith mold. He may not ever be a legit Top 5 QB, but barring injury, I could see him being an extremely accurate, borderline Top 10 QB in the league for the next decade. Certainly enough to consistently win with.

Certainly enough to consistently win with. Two points. I think Winston made just as many dumb throws as Darnold. And made/make the same type of wow throws. I think Smith has a stronger arm than Falk and is more athletic. But took him 10 years to get here. Falk is more similar to Penny but has a stronger arm so I'd be 100% on board with that. Need to see a bit more arm and more shots downfield but I'm back on the train. _
