I read an interesting theory about why the Justice department and the FBI weren't cooperating with all the congressional committees. They knew if they turned over the requested documents it would have been leaked to the press as well as the people under investigation. Now you are seeing the FBI double the number of agents into finding documents and other requests because it's too late. The investigations are done and the grand juries are wrapping up. I don't know if it's true but it makes sense.
