Agree with it or not it was stupid and you know it was stupid. You gauge this by the outrage you see on social media and news. All far-left and neo-con virtue signaling. After today nobody will be talking about it. They got their clicks and hits. There is a big difference between the immigrants we imported during the turn of the 20th Century and the ones we have been for the past 30 years. If you cant see that then you are not paying attention. If you want to make the argument it is our humanitarian duty to adopt people from those countries then fine. But that is not an immigration policy designed to benefit the host nation. Can't pretend it is. Furthermore, if liberals did care about people from those countries we would adopt policies that forced their governments to improve rather than just try to continue the unsustainable practice of unchecked migration. |
