We weren’t due to hit on a second rounder until 2027 anyways Hey a new member. Just like the new blooms in Spring, there's life on this board besides the weeds who have dwelled here. Welcome newbie.

I think he'll be gone 2 right after Darnold just watch It’s Rosen he wants i’m convinced, if the Giants take him and we end up with sloppy USC seconds it’s time to riot. He was there Thursday obviously it's him. We have no luck. Its already over. Fuck it

This is a very good deal. Yes, we gave up 3 2nd rounders to move up 3 spots but it will absolutely be worth it if we land a franchise QB at 3.
There was going to be a lot of competition for that pick - especially from Buffalo, a division rival.
Jets moved early and struck a good deal. Keeping next year's first rounder was huge.
Yes, giving up the 2nd rounders hurts, but let's face it...we were most likely to blow them anyway.
Now we are guaranteed to get a QB. Let's hope the one we really want is there.

Fuck it Don’t stop there either, call the Browns and get upto 1, we can’t give up what we already have and risk the Giants or Browns taking Rosen.

Deal may not look good on the draft value chart. But the chart goes out the window when you are looking to move up for a QB and you are among several QB needy teams. Very happy with this deal as of now. Hopefully we are just as happy on April 26.

Bottom line is this creates hope where there was none. None with our current qb's nor if we had signed cousins or Mr. glass bridgewater.
Yes we wil suck again this year but it creates hope for 2019.

I don't think Macc is done. He'll call the Browns for the top spot.

I looked at Bridgewater's injury history and while the ACL tear was a bad one he had only missed one other game due to injury. It could be a lot worse. So Jets sign McCown and tell him hes #1 going into the season....then immediately after trade up to pick 3rd.
Wonder if he thinks he's still starting. Lol.

it's going to be interesting ... don't want to say much of anything until way after the pick ... in 2018 we'll probably be looking at Bridgewater first ... and then
