An angle that I dont believe has been discussed. Which QB prospect has the best chance of overcoming the odds of playing for Todd Bowles and being succesful? Bowles seems to love veteran, journeyman, has been/never was QBs. Todd Bowles loves Defense over Offense. Im not asking who you want, just who you think has the ability to progress against the odds.i think it would be Rosen, but he isnt my first choice of the 4 that I want the Jets to draft.

I just read an article on Darnold's Pro Day. Some of what I read reminded me of a young Joe Namath when he first came to the Jets. Joe believed in his arm so much he cost the Jets games forcing passes, throwing when it wasn't necessary, and for the lack of a better characterization being too cocky and not knowing when to play it safe. It was only when he finally listened and quit forcing things the Jets won the SB, used their RB's more and if it wasn't there took the 3 points. I'm not saying Sam Darnold is Joe Namath but there are some parallels and quite a few differences in that Darnold his healthy, and a big kid who is more like Big Ben then Joe Namath. My point is, this whole who do the Jets take think has me rethinking things a little. I still think Rosen is probably the most advanced at this time. However, the more I look into it, I'm thinking if the Jets end up with Darnold, no one would be that unhappy. Others may disagree, but the bottom line is I think as long as the Jets get either one, they are in a good place.

I think if the Jets end up with Josh Allen, there's going to be divide in the fanbase. Baker, Rosen or Darnold would probably be accepted by majority of us soon enough but Allen is going to have to knock socks off as soon as training camp or fans are going to be throwing their support behind Teddy Bridgewater.

I voted mayfield because he’ll improvise on the fly and won’t give a rats ass what Bowles calls.

If Darnold and Rosen go 1 and 2 the Jets are screwed, they gave up all that for a project 50/50 bust potential QB.

I think Donald and Allen look like NFL quarterbacks. I think Rosen can be great... if he has a good line on a good team. As far as Baker Mayfield he can be sneaky good if they design and offense around his strengths whatever team he goes to. My sleeper is Mason Rudolph I think he's going to be very productive and steady throughout his career

Fuck..guess we are drafting Allen. Does Mac have a boner? Macc doesn’t have time for an Allen type project. Four eyes will be done if this doesn’t turn around quickly. But who knows for sure, maybe Allan will be the best of the bunch! I’m hoping for mayfield or Rosen tho.

If Darnold goes off the board, I’d take Rosen. If he’s gone, I’d take Mayfield.
If the Browns are (stupidly) seduced by Allen’s big arm and feel he can sit behind Taylor for a year or two before he’s ready, and the G-men go DL or RB, I’d take Darnold over Rosen.
