Also according to the Parcells Rules for Drafting Quarterbacks, he is the highest rated. Now like everything else, Parcells' QB rules have their misses as well as hits. But he does have a number of interesting hits ... like the drafting of Russell Wilson, who hit all the rules. In last year's Watson, who was the highest rated QB of the 2017 class, by the rules . Mason Rudolph also meets all the Parcells' rules ... and he's followed by Lamar Jackson who misses on the Completion percentage over 60% rule. the other guys meet only two or three out of the seven rules. Nothing and no one is 100% accurate ... but ... these guys all met the rules ... Peyton Manning, Brees, Romo, Russell Wilson, Rivers, Eli Manning, and Palmer ... guys that hit majority but not all the rules ... Luck and Ryan. Important QBs who hit half the rules ... Brady, Flacco, Rodgers and Roethlisberger ... and a guy who hit minority of the rules is Cam Newton. So what am I saying? ... I don't know what I'm saying ... Which is very appropriate for this forum ... The only things I'm fairly certain of are the following: the Jets are a cursed team ... and so are their fans Maccagnan is an idiot Despite Joe Benigno, Bowles is a decent coach I was with ya till the last sentence lol

I’m not taking a 6’0 QB with maturity concerns who hails from the most simplistic offense in college football over a kid who’s 6’5 240, possesses generational arm talent and freakish athleticism, and has 3 years of experience in a pro-style system where he routinely took shots downfield.
That Hackenberg shit has completely warped Jets fans minds.

Then that means Darnold/Rosen falls to the Jets. Win/Win But Mayfield is a pretty distant #4 behind the Top 3 guys if you ask me.

He’s dumber and more clueless than any of us could have imagined. Worse than our fears. The moron mick is a bumbling fool. No wonder the jets have the worst roster in the league with this idiot pickin players. He’s a fool.

But he looks most skilled from what I saw but i dont know shit lol Better than jets front office tho as pathetic that is Mayfield is just a shade over 6’0, hails from what is maybe the most simplistic offense imaginable where he rarely had to throw the ball more than 8 yards beyond the LoS, and has legitimate maturity concerns that shouldn’t just be swept under the rug. QB is the absolute last position where you want to have an immature jackass. I don’t think he’ll go the Johnny Manziel route. Mayfield is a much more polished passer than Manziel. But a lot of the similarities are striking. Same size, same arm, same maturity issues, same cockiness, same Heisman resume, both come from totally barebones offenses that feature basically zero pro concepts, etc. At the end of the day, everyone seems to love Mayfield mostly because of his “fire” or “passion” or whatever the hell you want to call it. Jets fans see him grabbing his dick and talking shit to the opposing team and can’t help but fantasize about him in a green & white uniform doing the same to the Patriots on Sunday’s. If we would’ve stayed at #6 and all three of Darnold, Rosen and Allen were off the board, I wouldn’t be against Mayfield. But trading away 3 2nd round picks to get him? Over one of the most polished QB’s to come out in recent memory (Rosen) or a straight up fucking 6’5 240 freak with one of the strongest arms ever evaluated (Allen)? Not a chance

Not starting a pissing match but do you think drafting a guy with serious concussion issues is worth all of those picks? Plus it’s been said that Rosen is a poor leader and has coach ability issues as well. So it sounds like maturity is an issue with Rosen too.
Look, I get that he is the most polished guy there but to be honest, and this isn’t an endorsement of Mayfield, but I am more worried about a guy on the field grabbing his big head than grabbing his little head. 😁

I still don't understand how this Allen is in the top 3 at all. I think he's eithir gonna drop like Genope or gonna be the biggest bust of the draft. Which means say hello to Jets QB Josh Allen who may be able to strap up a helmet by the middle of Trump's 2nd term... when "we" decide to franchise tag him Cant wait lol

Your concerns are valid and the most jetsiest shit ever, which makes me sure they will pick this glass man... the very rich glass man. I think I'd rather him be the owner than QB tbqh

Look, I get that he is the most polished guy there but to be honest, and this isn’t an endorsement of Mayfield, but I am more worried about a guy on the field grabbing his big head than grabbing his little head. 😁 Rosen’s past injuries and dickish personality scare me a bit too, but if he can stay healthy, the dude is virtually guaranteed to at least be a Top 15 QB in the league for the next 10+ years. The way he throws the ball and goes through his progressions reminds you of a young Peyton Manning. Realistically, I think he’s Matt Ryan with a bigger arm. You won’t find many guys who throw a prettier ball. I also love that he’s an old-school, pure pocket passer. None of this running around like a chicken with its head cut off nonsense. He consistently stands tall in the pocket and delivers the ball with accuracy. And even though he’s not very mobile, he shows some of that Brady ability to sense pressure and step up in the pocket to avoid defenders. Darnold and Rosen are still hands down the Top 2 QB’s in this draft. Allen and Mayfield are total tossups. And if I’m gambling on a tossup at #3, I’m taking the kid who looks like he was grown in a lab, possesses generational arm talent, is a freak athlete, and has 3 years of experience in a pro-style system where he routinely took shots downfield.
