Not at all. Young and impulsive does not make you dumb. If he cleans up his act and goes on to become a solid citizen then all is well. He gets locked up again and that would be a completely different story. I just do not choose to go by the fatalistic narrative you have of everything. There's nothing fatalistic about what I posted, just an acknowledgement of what I think everyone thinks? And WHY does he need to clean up his act? Anderson came to us as an udfa. So it's not like he was a top 5 pick that knows regardless of what he does he'll always have a future in football? You'd think he'd be tremendously thankful to the Jets organization for giving him a shot. Do you think Wayne Chrebet would have acted that way when he was an udfa just being discovered? This is basically a kid. Does not matter his value or pedigree to the league. He screwed up and it appears he knows this. if he straitens out and goes on to be a solid citizen off and on the field then he has turned it around. You have no idea what his relationship with the team is. You constantly project "what every thinks" onto everyone. How about we give the 25 year old, spoiled but 25, a second chance to get it right.
