Completely agree 100% with Boldin. Been saying the same thing for years myself. And trump is open to discussing this. But the media won’t report it. Goes against their narrative that he’s a racist. He’s obviously not. He’ll make progress on this I bet.

If Trump were to free all non-violent drug offenders, democrats would never win another election. He should think about it. For a while.

Hard part would be going through the case log to determine their eligibility. We are wasting people's lives and our money jailing these people. I would love to hear the other side of this idea. What could be the positives of keeping them in jail?

See I think on a lot of this kind of stuff many folks in your position just simply don't know and have been duped (with the rest of humanity) on the foundation of lies that determines how humanity will live their slave lives. There is a HUGE positive. To THEM. Since we're all JETS prisoners, lets go with NY for the data.... www.nytimes.com/2013/08/24/nyregion/citys-annual-cost-per-inmate-is-nearly-168000-study-says.htmlStill wondering those positives?

It bothers me that couple are considered to be the greatest beacons of freedom in the ranks of the rulers of this country. Wrong side of history when it comes to freedom... wouldn't ya say???

Reagan was our best POTUS since WWII. And I dont think any body else comes close. But his two failures, the drug war and immigration, are haunting us 30 years later.

I guess I phrased that wrong. I am in total agreement with you and I wonder what possible justification there could be to continuing this farce. You can see I have been on the Anti-drug war side since JI. I have never done drugs but I feel that the drug war is only hurting people and creating a problem.

He's also got people like Jeff "Reefer Madness" Sessions and others in his ear that "drugs are bad, mmmkay". Hopefully he ignores those voices. The money we'd save, the political goodwill he'd get, along with the actual lives he'd improve, all make a huge case for doing it.
