History will show why McCain will be memorialized as a patriot and a selfless public servant.

History will show why McCain will be memorialized as a patriot and a selfless public servant. That's true if you get your history from Facebook and Twitter.

He did plenty do be memorialized and respected BUT make no mistake, he is the TRUE emblem of what is wrong with politics today. He was the Ted Kennedy of the republican party. He did so little except things that were easy and kept him in office. His choice of Palin and how easily he let Obama off the hook were his legacy IMO. he was fine being in second place as long as he kept his seat. May he rest in peace.

Is it possible to point to any politician and think they were perfect. McCain’s politics changed when the GOP threw him under the bus when he ran against GW. After that he tried to play politics instead of utilizing his instincts and values. McCain should be remembered for who he was as a person.

Interesting to read the harsh words for John McCain. Didn’t realize I was in the presence of perfection.

Interesting to read the harsh words for John McCain. Didn’t realize I was in the presence of perfection. Bask in it McCain has always been a fraud all around. From personal life to political standing. I actually voted for Obama in ‘08 and looking back, I can’t say I regret it. Obama sucked but McCain could’ve been worse. At least Obama deported record numbers of illegals while McCain would’ve let them in by the droves and probably have us right in the midst of a war with someone like Russia with the likeminded, warmongering Dems in Congress cheering him on.

Interesting to read the harsh words for John McCain. Didn’t realize I was in the presence of perfection. Not even close to perfection. But my bad decisions dont send men and women to their deaths. And I agree with you. The GOP was very hard on him in 2000. But he has been nothing but a negative for the GOP since 2008. He rolled over against Obama and has done nothing but undermine Trump.
