So we go from being deplorable to dregs. Will they ever learn that if you insult half of the population you won't get their votes no matter what you make up about the other candidate. Add in that the economy is booming and they will be lucky to get as many states as they did in 2016.

In fairness, Biden said "they", "a small percentage of the American people, some of which are the dregs of society."
I dont take that to mean all Trump voters are the dregs of society....
...but it does seem that there is now, maybe more than ever, a large divide with regards to respect between voters of different parties. The Bushes eras, Bill Clinton era, I dont remember there being such a divisive wedge being driven, such an "us or them" type mentality, as I think we've seen the last couple of years.
