Can't speak for all Republicans, but for me this means...
That due process is alive.
That we are still a nation of law that still believe in Innocent until proven Guilty.
That a dirty politically-motivated #MeToo witch-hunt is doomed to fail if it couldn't produce a single witness or a shred of evidence.
That a judge deemed "Well-Qualified for the Supreme Court" by the ABA didn't have to endure that damn circus for nothing.
Little things like that might not be matter to left and rightwingers performing in this circus, but they do matters to the non-partisan audience watching on the bleachers. |
