It’s a sham industry who conspires with medical care providers to fuck the patients. Not true at all. The gubbermint does run HC now. In the form of reimbursements to the systems. I work for a regional player in Raleigh. A 55 y/o obese male presents to our ED with chest pains. We quickly eval and determine he needs quadruple bypass. We now have 5 days to perform the procedure and discharge the pt. If he needs to stay any longer we, the system, have to petition insurance company and or medicare to pay for it otherwise we eat the cost. If this fat fuck comes back in 30 days with cheat pains we do not get paid for any treatment he receives. It is how the gubbermint is forcing behemoths in healthcare. Little, rural, hospitals are closing in record numbers. Limiting care to many of our poorest and neediest people. I am a stage 4 cancer pt for 16 months now. The treatment plan my team developed for me to give me the best chance of being alive in 2022, it is only a 60% chance, was denied 3 times. My team had to do an panel appeal with BCBSNC. Prior to this plan being submitted, BCBS had already paid for 3 surgeries, about 15 hours of OR time, 23 radiation treatments and a slew of meds to deal with the side effects. Healthcare is not perfect for sure. Quite honestly if it wasn't for the people actually delivering the care, the industry would fold. We have great healthcare despite the asshats that run and regulate it, solely on the backs of the healthcare worker. I hope for nothing but the best for you.

I believe strongly in whole cannabis and other things like Vitamin C treatment
