I know it may sound a bit tinfoil-hat, but it would avoid a civil war over intractable and soon to be irreconcilable differences. TBH, I can't even stand to hear the bullshit that comes out of the mouths (or keyboards) of SJWs and general libturds anymore. I don't think there are any areas of discussion where the 2 sides even come close to agreeing anymore.
I'm sure a plan could be worked out where each side gets warm water ports, a roughly equal division of natural resources, etc.
Thoughts? Counter-arguments?

I think it is happening naturally, no way the demon-crats would agree, because they need your 20g's in property taxes to promise to someone else. We would basically have to move to a red state where the people who vote for a living dont outnumber the people who work for a living. That's my plan, anyhoo. The eventual problems I see are: Dims planning to abolish Electoral College, possibly 2 US Senators per state. Rampant voter fraud because they think all (R)s are racists and Nazis. Really, once you believe that, they can justify ANYTHING they do. They're for open borders because potential immigrants are conditioned to autocratic govts and socialism.
Only way to avoid the coming trainwreck...

I like to think the problem is really a small but vocal minority that is parroted by the MSM and then the sheep follow. I don't think most people really think Antifa and BLM tactics are ok or that America is bad. They just don't understand the economics of open borders and a welfare state and they are being led by people who don't care as long as they remain in power which is obvious in the way their opinions change over the past 10 years or so.

Its truly astonishing. Scott Adams talks about it all the time. All of our problems are mental. 100 years ago you had people dying from disease, war and hunger. Now we have make believe things like the patriarchy.
I think the biggest issue is the internet and social media. We havent evolved enough to understand how to properly mesh with this technology. Our brains arent designed to be this connected and inundated with information. There is no escaping it.

I will disagree and offer a counter-argument. Most normal people hate PC (recent poll showed 80% of Americans - a majority of Reps and Dims think it's a big problem). That means, there is a loud vocal minority, parroted by idiots in the MSM who believe this. In addition, the Dims won the house by going back to the center this year. If you look at many of their candidates that won, they are middle of the road "normal" dems - many of them military vets. So, I believe that this country is mostly moderate/right of center with a very loud (yet small and horribly ugly) lunatic left that yearns for socialism/open boarders/speech control/gender/race BS. We (me, you, Trump, real Americans, beautiful men and women, the Hampur) won't let them take our country away. I'm hopeful these problems, disagreements and general divisiveness and hatred will start to dissipate as most people are completely fed up with it and you can't stay that hyped up forever. It helps to take a chill pill, step away from the news, read a book and relax every once in a while. Life can be good. |

The problem is people in this country live in an almost perfect bubble. Which is actually a great thing! Means the country has eliminated basic threats such as hunger, shelter, war, etc. but now the bored assholes are making issues up. Do you think folks would worry about admitting girls into the Boy Scouts if Chinese troops were raping their daughter after invading or if the power grid went dark and the supermarket was bare? And partition my ass. I’m not giving one ounce of dirt to Cheech and his ilk. Put them in camps or deport them all to Haiti. Country can’t survive 50/50. 70/30 is about right. Let the streets run red and see where the chips fall. Not like you live forever anyway. Might as well secure the future the children. |

I do think there's some merit to the idea that we have it too good, and too much access to information in real time being an overload. People are finding new ridiculous things to complain about, when we have it better today in the US than any people ever on the planet.

The military already has caps for enlistment age, so why wouldn't drafted citizens fall under the same guidelines? 39 for the Air Force, Army is 35, while the Navy and Marines cap recruit ages at 34 and 28, respectively. |

Bring back the draft and have the age max be 35 instead of 26 during Vietnam. 2 year commitment, we have been at perpetual war with only a few making any sacrifices. |
