I see a lot of fake news tonight saying how harsh Sullivan was on Flynn. None of it mentions he basically apologized and walked back those comments.
Fake news by omission.
In pre-TDS times what Flynn did with Kislyak was called diplomacy. Reagan had back channels to Russia during the Cold War. Kennedy had them in Cuba. That wasnt treason. That prevented nuclear war.
Im old enough to remember when liberals were the ones trying deescalate international conflict.
