And not even a single appearance in the title game either.
Still undefeated in the super bowl.
So we got that going for us.
Which is nice.

Dating myself but I watched it, Jets fan age 12. I remember the parents having people over to watch it and the excitement. Dont remember any of the game. Those were a couple of great years in NY Sports.

T hose were a couple of great years in NY Sports. That's all it was - my Dad had Namath stories. A Namath story. About parking his car. Something. It was something; I remember the boardwalk and the adults having cocktails; very Christmasy

Maybe you should remove the thread in question?
(50 years ago, I was still waiting in line at the Pearly Gates, getting pissed at the long wait to be born)

All in all...I'm proud to have stuck it out. Shea, Meadowlands, Metlife. The sopne came home from College for Christmas break and we caught yet another game together. Our first in 3 years. He's about to graduate and live out of state. It meant alot to us, despite the product. For us its about loyalty and having the stomach to wear the colors of a clown-show organization. No one can ever take that from us. He was spoiled as a young'in with the Yanks....the Jets gave him a thick skin.
