Was Arya able to get close to the Night King because she used a Wight Walker face? If not, totally lame to have her fly in off the top rope Jimmy Snuka style for the win. 8 season build up for that...kinda geting more and more dissapointed. Too many characters got away from impossible situations. Even friggin Sam survived the fight. Swattimsayin. Just makin sh*t up. common

We're talking epic heroes here. The 1%ers of Westeros. The best of the best. They're going to survive impossible odds. Normal rules dont apply.
We had a few deaths.... Ed, Beric, Jorah Mormont. Lyanna Mormont. Poor House Mormont, wiped off the face of Westeros in one night. Dibs on Bear Island.

I suppose they didn't want to key into Arya because they wanted the scene to be a shock/surprise but I agree she must have changed her face to get so close. A thread somewhere on the internet said that in that moment when John stands up in front of the ice dragon - just before Arya jumps the Night King - you can hear him yell "Go Go Go" and look out-of-frame as though he sees her running into the woods. Not sure if accurate - I need to rewatch.

If the Nigjt King raises his hand to summon all the dead, in the crypts etc, how come the dead didn’t come out of their crypts in Kings Landing? It's a proximity spell/power? Guessing you didn't play D&D or some MMORPGs, like, ever. I know what a fucking nerd. I don't think big l even jerkoffs. Probably just drinks until he pushes himself while watching game show network

I thought he lost his mind and the end but if you rewatch it he sees Arya trying to pass the dragon like he did countless times so he stands up and yells Go Gooooooo. Had to rewatch it to spot it. Star wars nerd alerted me to this on Twitter and as usual was correct. 2nd viewing confirmed this

Night kings biggest concern was J Snow. He positioned the dragon in that exact spot for him. Which made sense upon rewatching. See above post if you dont know wtf I'm talking about. That's confirmed as he refused to even fight him man to man and raised the dead instead of throwing down. He wanted no part of John. Got him stuck with the Dragon which is why John pulled the stunt at the end to let her pass. He never saw her coming. Also lets not forget she's a trained faceless assassin. Bitch can fight blind

This guy gets it. Is the dead dragon's blue fire hot or cold? its mint flavored Like a shot of Rumpleminz. I knew it. Has to be in the immediate area. It's a spell. Ah, right. Everyone knows a spell has a range and it is 120 to 130 meters. Still conflicted over last weeks episode.
Had some of the best action in the series, but I definitely have some gripes.
Like, what a terrible fucking villain the Night King turned out to be.
Or how this has essentially become the Arya Stark story with everyone else basically serving as a background character.
Or how they built up the White Walkers ever since the pilot episode only for them to be wiped out over the span of one battle that lasted a matter of hours. I thought this Whitewalker ordeal was supposed to be like Westoros’ version of the biblical apocalypse? The fight for humanity. The battle of good vs evil. Kind of a letdown if you ask me.
Or how this show used to have balls the size of watermelons when it came to killing off main characters...but then they kill hardly anyone in what is supposed to be the grandest battle you’ve ever seen where the stakes couldn’t possibly be any higher. Sam should’ve died MULTIPLE fucking times.

Did the Iron Bank stuff ever get settled? My bet is that the end is the beginning - with whomever on the Iron Throne being invaded by some Bravossi army funded by the Iron Bank......

They killed off some of the best characters in the early episodes, added meh characters along the way and turned a great drama into an improbable science fiction mish mosh.

The show is still awesome, but then again, most of you faggots would complain about the wine at a Roman orgy.
