Who had Bill Buckner?

Always liked him.

All year McNamara had been putting in Dave Stapleton as a defensive replacement. He said he thought Buckner deserved to be on the field for the final out. What a moron. Buckner could barely tie his own shoes at that point. I wanted to kill McNamara for years, until the finally won. Back when I have a shit about sports.

McNamara managed for 19 years with a winning percentage of .485. Gotta love the old boys network.
