I'll make this even easier; if you believe that the vaccine is effective, you MUST believe that those who have had Covid-19 are more than likely immune to future infection and cannot infect others. If you don't accept that, you're either a science-denier and/or motivated by some other ideology. I can accept "more than likely". BUT I also believe those who got really sick from Covid-19 may have some serious long term health issues down the line. IMHO I'd MUCH rather prevent it in the first place with a vaccine. If you feel you'ld rather get it, hoping for a mild case then we can disagree on that. (I'm also on the plus side of 60 with other complications.) I hope thats where were at cuz this is boring.

No I disagree, to me thats way less important. It may take decades of research to pinpoint the exact why, when we look back at all this and hopefully learn something but we don't have that luxury right now. From everything I see, looking at where vaccines are being used vs. not...they are working or at the minimum are part of the solution. Obviously I'm not a medical professional so my opinions are just that. Wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong. Id love it if we didn't need the vaccine, believe me. I put the least amount of things in my body as I can. (Interest anal joke here.) Anyway, lifting a Fresca in your honor. I think you're missing my point; I don't have an issue at all with the vaccine. I have a problem with all the #becausescience types who aren't acknowledging science, all while complaining about people need to get their vaccines, wear your masks, the things you went on about, etc., buuuuuuut nothing about immunity. And from a science perspective, not knowing the why is a faith-based approach, so it matters to the #becausescience types, but only sometimes? COMMON! I get it I get it. But we can't even get a large portion of certain areas to get a vaccine, and you want to drill down to something even harder for them to understand. Most of them think the vaccine is an evil government scam, the concept of immunity isnt going to resonate in the least. And its not faith-based at all. I have no idea how my computer works but that doesn't stop me from using it. Personally it's not even science I need its a match and demographics exercise.

Only took Uncle Joe 6 months to ruin everything after Trump had fixed it all. If only we could have finished the wall. We were so close. Oh well, it was a pretty good run. 17 blacks lives didn't matter in chicago this weekend... If only we fished the wall.

No, no panic. Part of leadership is honesty. Don’t hold motorcycle rallies, weddings or parties folks. Be cautious and hey, you might want to wear a mask. Instead we got pablum about freedom as the bodies stacked up. Buy hey, can’t upset the base. They can’t handle it. Dude - you used to be fat and kinda funny. Now you’re just fat. Give it a rest fatso. Actually, we need a resident lib mental patient here that twists him/her/their self into mental knots trying to translate the absolute garbage and nonsense being spewed by the anti-American left. You’re like the Hampurs version of Combs from the old Hannity and Combs show. Except you’re decidedly uglier and much fatter. Welcome back fat boy. 😎 Hi Mr. Sunshine, I just like to pop into this echo chamber you've got going on occasion to see if you're OK. See you in 3 months. Carry on my friend.

Isn’t the most important thing that’s it’s working? Not the why? And tha vaccines are an important part of the picture. Enjoy the 4th No, the most important thing is the why. If you can't prove the why, then how do you know it's working? You don't. That's the whole correlation doesn't equal causation argument in reverse. That it's a one-sided conversation is a huge problem, why can't you admit that? I had an epic bike ride and a small BBQ. Hope you rebellious OGs did the same. No I disagree, to me thats way less important. Yeah I get your opinion. But I’d much rather Trump had listened to infectious disease experts early on over Jared and the My Pillow Guy. Vaccines are working. Not to brow-beat, but it's not an opinion. Trump (and now Biden) still are not getting accurate information from infectious disease experts, as evidenced by the lack of importance placed on natural immunity by the pols and the media. You just did it yourself with that last line. The vaccines are only working BECAUSE of natural immunity; that's how herd immunity works. Isn’t the most important thing that’s it’s working? Not the why? And tha vaccines are an important part of the picture. Enjoy the 4th

I have no problem with natural immunity being given the same status as vaccine-inducted immunity, but this discussion was more about what happened when the bodies were stacking up. Action was needed fast. No, you said you wanted a serious person to listen to the medical experts. I put forth that those experts STILL refuse to place the importance needed on the SCIENCE of natural immunity, and therefore their expertise/motivations are in question. And if that's true (and it is), then it wouldn't have mattered who was listening to them, as they were not getting sound, scientific advice. Capiche? Yeah I get your opinion. But I’d much rather Trump had listened to infectious disease experts early on over Jared and the My Pillow Guy. Vaccines are working.

Words matter. BIGLY. By playing down the virus he created inaction across the board. Leaders lead. What he said is akin to FDRs we have nothing to fear but fear itself. He was basically saying, yes, it’s a virus, but it has a 99% survival rate and we will beat it. What did The looney left want him to say? Everyone panic because the end is near? Give me a fucking break.

You guys can post all your Whataboutisms if that floats your boat but Trump was President and he dropped the ball. He took marketing advice from Jared rather that medical advice from infectious disease exoerts.

Yeah Donald was right on top of it…. Words over action. Feelings over facts. The leftist backwards philosophy at work. Words matter. BIGLY. By playing down the virus he created inaction across the board.

I have no problem with natural immunity being given the same status as vaccine-inducted immunity, but this discussion was more about what happened when the bodies were stacking up. Action was needed fast. If only someone stopped travel from the epicenter of the epidemic and subsequent areas. Removed impediments to getting a vaccine fast. Funded said vaccine. Listened to his health advisors like Facci (who was pretty much wrong at every turn) Although the MSM tries to make it look like the US had covid the worst the entire world was hit hard. I don't think any of the numbers from any country are reliable but which world leader did a better job? Babbling Joe hasn't done anything except continue Trump's plan. The only difference is how it is reported. Yeah Donald was right on top of it….
