Dealing with it now with MIL. Soul crushing for all involved. Good luck brother. I will never forget the first time my FIL did not know who my wife was. She was devastated, even though he had no control and she knew it, it took days for the crying to stop. Thanks, that’s where we are at. They were particularly close, her being the only daughter. My wife is the eternal optimist and to see her try and come to grips with the fact that this doesn’t get better, that nothing she does will “fix” it, it’s just extremely sad. |

But if they told me i had early onset of this shit I would step in front of a bus. Been through it twice with the in-laws. Although Cuomo killed my MIL before this did with his bright COVID plan for nursing homes. Relentless, unforgiving and brutal fucking disease. Dealing with it now with MIL. Bad weekend for the Reid family. Oof. I remember what happened with the other son. Now this. At what point, as a parent..I dont even know what to say. This recent tragedy had to reverberate through the lockeroom somehow. This son has a previous DUI and a road rage conviction. Days before Super Bowl he drinks and drives. Astounding stupidity. |
