Update my entire prediction came true take BPA William's take a OLB DE in the third because he is kicking himself for not taking a pass rusher trade back in the fourth for players who will end up on practice Squad this guy does the same damm thing every year never fails last year only difference he traded up because the Johnson were pissed he didn't find a franchise QB in 3 years. Man Gase cant be much worse then this. If the rumors are true I welcome it.

It’s not multiple people reporting the rift it’s one person reporting the rift and others reporting that the one guy reported the rift Whats concerning is that Macs replacement was mentioned and that he has ties to Gase. If Gase is behind this thats a problem. Really cant be any worse then this maybe Gase learned from his mistakes in Miami. Honestly I want Mac gone it's the same draft every year BPA trade back in the fourth for more garbage picks it's getting downright depressing. I predicted this entire draft that's how 1 dimensional Mac is. There a reason this team is picking in the top 5 3 out of 4 seasons under Mac and they have nothing to show for it.

Tony was a poster on the old JI. Why A pass rusher there are not any elite ones left. Why not Greedy William's or DK Metcalf hope rumors are true and they gut Mac. Top 10 talent still available and Mac is trading up for a project Pass rusher we could get an elite CB and he wants a Hackenberg of pass rushers what a joke.

Did this pick really shock anybody? Mac is predictable BPA had a chance at an elite edge rusher and took another DT. Now we can have another year of Mac desperately try to trade for a disgruntle edge rusher like Fowler and Mack same thing every year. Prediction for the 3rd Mack will trade back for additional garbage picks and take a OLB I was right about Williams pick I say he goes OLB because he is kicking himself for not having the guts to pull the trigger on Allen.

Oliver has potential to be another Gholston. I remember how Gholston was a physical freak look how that turned out. Plus the fact he is another DL when will this team draft something else. Tell you the truth if they want to take a risk draft I rather Hockenson guy has the potential to be another Gronk.other then that please no.

Knowing Mac cant think outside the box and cant evaluate talent he will go BPA and take another DT Quinton Williams. The only way William's isnt a Jet if he is picked by the 49ers. Mac is to dumb to trade back evidence when you amplify that your determined to trade back now how many teams will try to fleece him.

Mac's biggest weakness he has tough time evaluating talent outside the top 5. Still the best thing is if they can trade down and get a few additional picks including a second they should do it. The Jets in the current state have still too many holes they need a center, edge rusher,WR, CB a LT og. I think Center is the biggest hole not gonna happen but I love the Jets to draft Garrett Bradbury.

I think also the reason they signed him over Ware he is more versatile the guy was originally a WR. The Jets can use him in the slot use him as a #2Wr, put him in as a HB TE also he is a kick returner the guy can do multiple things besides playing backup RB for Bell.

Jets should trade back grab TJ Hockenson for TE this will fix several things for 1 better blocking on the end for better run game, red zone target for Darnold, the guy is the complete package big upgrade over what they have plus it screws the Pat's who without Gronk are not the same team. Just a thought I dont think Mac is smart enough or creative enough to pull that off. If the jets draft a TE in round one with all the glaring holes they have (especially all along the OL) then they will only be screwing themeleves. Unfortunately, they just may be stupid enough to do it. If the guy turns out to be another Gronk probably not a guy of that calibur would help the offense.

It comes down to a couple of questions: Can they / should they trade back? If so, which is a more important hole to address? Id say C, LT, EDGE, and CB are more vital to address than TE right now. Even Gronk himself wasn't a 1st rounder. And in no way, shape, or form does taking this guy screw the Pats. No way does he last until they pick. There's plenty of teams in the teens and twenties that would take him first. I reading Pat's want to move up I actually want the Jets to trade back and take Garret Bradbury best center in the draft and the only 1 that can start day 1. In fact they need to trade back they spent way to much money on Bell they got to get a center. Taking Bradbury at #3 would be to high. Only 3 centers in this draft that are NFL starters. I heard Gase doesn't like to use high draft picks on OLs so we probably not getting him.

Although, say you trade down to #15, and Hockenson, Garrett Bradbury, and some combination of Jonah Williams / Andre Dillard / Cody Ford etc. are all sitting there, can you justify taking the TE over a top Center or Left Tackle, when OL is arguably a bigger need than TE, since we already have Herndon? If this guy is a Gronk yes I could while Herdon showed some stuff he isnt a good blocker already facing suspension. A TE of this calibur would help with the run game protect Darnold while adding another weapon to Darnolds arsenal yes As much as I want Bradbury getting this guy could give the Jets an elite weapon plus screw the Pat's at the same time.
