Yeah, but does anyone seriously want Geno Smith starting? The bottom line is that unless we land either Mariota or Winston in the draft, then we're going to be staring at someone like Geno Smith or Matt Moore behind center. Oh, well fuck me, why even bother having a site dedicated to discussing the team in the first place? |

My point is why would we want to cater our offense to a bust QB who acts as the 12th man for the opposing team's defense? That's why all this talk about "the offense suiting Geno" just seems really silly to me. The only thing that should be suiting Geno Smith right now is the waiver wire. |

Shotgun spread offense with nice easy reads. Similar to what Geno did at West Virginia so I think it's a great offense for him. Harvin and Kerley are going to be great in this offense b/c it's all predicated on quick throws to guys in open space that allows for YAC. Harvin, especially, will be dangerous in this offense. Hopefully he'll restructure. Yeah, but does anyone seriously want Geno Smith starting? |
