I am heading over with some Jet fan friends that live in NJ/NY, but are from London and Dublin. Bringing our mildly annoying Fish Fan pal too. One of the lad's brother has a pub west of London where we stay when attending sporting events in London. I have always felt as safe if not more secure at stadiums in the UK & Germany, than the US. Not so much in France, Italy or further east. I am hoping Chelski is playing home or nearby in that time frame next year. Should be about the same time as FA Cup third round qualifying as well....lots of possibilities

We are right smack bang in the middle of the Rigby Workd Cup next October so there's likely to be a lot of options round about then

Definitely will. None of my lot are too interested in the RWC. The few days on either side of the Jets have the Scots getting battered by the Springboks up in the north, USA getting the same business, and Ireland with a semi-certain victory against a scrappy team of Eye-Ties. The big draw would be Engurland vz Oz, but there is no way, 3 Yanks, 2 Micks, 1 Scot and a Swede would take precedence over a local to get in. That would be the match to see, for me. The pub is way out in Eton, alleged home of schoolboy rugby. Good times, folks and music, run by a Dub, and easy poaching of the slags that roll down from Slough. We have always used it as home base, and then ate & drank our way to the city proper for football. I have been trying to take in as many stadiums/grounds as I can over the last 20 years.

As a Scot I'm both a)going to that game too in Newcastle...and b)taking exception to the suggestion anything other than a famous humping of the Saffers is on the cards yeah tix for the hoorays v 'Straya won't be easy to come by.Premier League schedule likely out around early June bound to be a few games around at that time...sounds like you are doing it the right way might have to check out that pub out west

Jet game sold out 4 hours after goin on general sale, managed to get a ticket out of the last 500 available, ended up paying $194 for corner end zone seats.
Interested to see where other Jet fans are sat and how much you ended up paying?
Just glad I got one.
