now they're saying that Darnold will be linked to this remark just as Sanchez is forever connected to the butt fumble ...
Fine. Let them link it.
Sam is not the type of person who gives a shit about image like Mark "How's my hair?" Sanchez.
He'll just go onto the next game and play better...and win.

Ghost is better than buttfumble. So there’s that.
Ghost reminds me of Vernon Gholston.
But it's not the one word....it's the phrase : "I see ghosts"
I can just seem the Memes of "I see dead people" being replaced by "I see ghosts".
You know the jokes are coming (or are here).

Yes we do.
For god's sake, Sam Darnold was the Consensus #1 QB in that Draft and arguably should've gone #1 instead of Baker Mayfield.
So yes. We DO have a QB.

Benigno is a fucking clown and always has been Dipshit was saying less than two weeks ago before Darnold came back from mono that the Jets should tank and draft Tua. An injury prone, 6’0 QB who isn’t even close to the level of prospect that Darnold was coming out of USC. The Jets suck right now, but good god this asshole is the epitome of the whiny, woe is me Jets fan. How about we actually put an OL and an NFL caliber WR corps around the kid before throwing him away 18 months after drafting him.

Joe has a face that makes you want to punch him, then rip his mustache off to make him look even more stupid.

He doesn't sound like a rattled QB to me.

He doesn't sound like a rattled QB to me. Easy to do on Thursday. Sunday is when it counts.

No shit.
He'll be facing a good defense but he won't be facing Belichek or Brady.
The key for him is to basically not throw off his back-foot or lob the ball in the air.
OH and our Receivers need to NOT DROP THE FUCKING BALL when it hits their hands (Thomas).

He's started a grand total of 16 games. Give the fucking kid some time before declaring him a bust.

His performance on Monday does raise legit concerns though. I can live with bad games but he made a lot of bad decisions on Monday night. I think Sunday is really important for him. If he bounces back, no big deal. If he struggles again the concern will only increase. While comparing him to Sanchez at all, Sanchez had flashes of greatness as well. Unfortunately he could not sustain or build on those. He did have a much better team around him though. Sammy really has shit.

A lot of Tank for Tua talk after monday night, not just Beningo. Watching the game Monday night, I started timing the Pats pass rush... quite a few times guys were getting to him unblocked in less than three seconds, so I can understand the throwing off the back foot and lofting throws downfield. Now, he does have to work on getting rid of the ball safely, or taking a sack rather than an INT, but he's coming off mono, and my assumption is the kid doesn't want to get murdered back there by his shitty OL and have his spleen explode.

Agreed. I am still optimistic about the kid but maybe looking through squinted eyes a little after Monday is all.
