They say its not about his contract, but in another tweet, Cimini points out Jamal is 19th paid safety or some such, and may want a big contract rework after this season. He is on a rookie contract so ofcourse his compensation is on the lower end. I believe under the new CBA you cannot rework their deals until after the 3rd year. This is Adams' third year so it makes sense he would want more money. I wish we had these problems with pass rushers and QBs.

Adams is great but he is a Safety. And Maye has progressed a lot this year. That said the compensation has to be a ton. First and Second rounder or a first rounder and one of their linemen. 1st and one of their OL needs to be top priority

Would you like to see my baseball? Baseballs
you mean. (unless you're implying you only have one which is untrue 'cause then you'd be Adam Gase)

And thats the point... he's likely to force a big money extension after this season, so if you can get a nice return, and arent sold on paying a strong safety major coin, you have to listen.

All these tweets are absolute bs. ADams isn’t going anywhere. I think he’s definitely gone And that’s fine by me. Load up with as much picks as possible to inject some talent into the offense. Adams is primarily a box safety who rarely creates turnovers. No way I drop $15 million a year on a guy like that longterm. Could care less how “fiery” he is.

he Athletic's Connor Hughes confirms the Cowboys are interested in Jets SS Jamal Adams. It goes beyond that, with ESPN's Ryan Clark reporting Adams badly wants to play for his hometown team. "I know he wants to play there. I know he wants to go home," Clark said on TV Tuesday. "This is from speaking to him." The Athletic reports the Jets are seeking "a lot … a whole lot." It doesn't make any sense that he's on the block in the first place, so the Jets better secure a king's ransom if they let one of their building blocks go.

All these tweets are absolute bs. ADams isn’t going anywhere. I think there is definite interest. But most trades that get discussed dont actually happen. Someone has to first. I dont see them giving Adams away. They can always revisit trading him at draft time if they want to move him.

Looking like no deal
