Something to think about with Gase... with the exception of Edoga, the starting OL is pretty much experienced veterans. Of them, only Kalil and Lewis weren't here last year. But the OL performed better last year, somewhat at least, than this year. They didn't all of a sudden forget how to play...granted they're a year older...so I have to put some of the blame on communication and scheme which is on Gase. Granted it would be nice to draft a tackle, center, and guard in 2020. We def. are due for our next Mangold/Mawae. Cant see much changing without it.

I was always under the impression that whomever controlled the line of scrimmage had the upper hand? It completely befuddles me that the Jets and my beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers have ignored the Oline for so long.

I think its that there are really is a dearth of true "football minds" in the organization. Its almost like we have an organization full of people who bullsh*tted their way into their jobs and now they are in charge of who gets hired and carefully pick other morons who cant expose them for their lack of knowledge. The players who actually put their bodies on the line quickly sense this and it effects their effort and risk exposure.

I’m ready to go all out on the OL Make Brandon Scherff our one big FA signing, draft Andrew Thomas with our initial 1st round pick, then trade Adams and take Tyler Biadasz the center from Wisconsin with the other. Then double dip at wideout in the 2nd and early 3rd. LT Andrew Thomas LG Alex Lewis C Tyler Biadasz RG Brandon Scherff RT Chuma Edoga I’ll take that. So will Darnold and Bell.

This is gonna sound corny and I don’t care. This dude cares. He’s a legit top 5 safety and cares. Isn’t a locker room cancer. I don’t care if the price is unreasonable, we need dudes like him. Well, this post sure stood the test of time. Fml nah - it was a good post and I' agreed then and i still agree. We do need Adams, But he didn't help his case with that comparison. Also, DW (above) is correct: its a business. Can't be offended by everything.

They used the term "Mike McCarthy's Outdated offense" to blame Rodger's downward trend until this season. It is hard to tell, McC or LaF, how much of Rodgers problems are Rodgers improv. LaFleur wants the play to go off and followed truthfully until the whistle. Rodgers wants autonomy; and ability to call audibles.

Perhaps he realized the game had passed McCarthy and his Bill Walsh offense. Name one instance where the team chose the coach over the HoF QB.

That looks pretty decent (with the exception of Edoga who let his man just waltz by and almost kill Sam; I don't trust him....maybe he gets better and makes me eat my words but right now, I wouldn't trust him to hold my beer)
