Every game our first drive is awesome, then we have no clue the rest of the game.

Would you be surprised if that really was true?

I hope every Steelers fan at Metlife gets botulism today. Felt like 50%. One really loud, antagonistic doosh right behind me that would have put me in Jet jail about 25 yrs. ago. My sopne (22) started to get "rose up" but I was able to calm him down. Little hasidic Steeler fan in front of me trying to wave his stupid towel (and hitting me in the fargin face) but one grab and glare and he was done. Satisfying result, and in the end the Jets winners (me) were alot more gracious in victory than the Steelers doosh-fans would have been. Quiet ride home on a bus where we could have tortured the mouthy Steelers fans with their fat girlfriends.

AG tried to give it away at the end. Do you think the Cheaters would of had the ball for 22 seconds then punt it back to the opponents with over a minute left? F no, Belicheat would of closed it out, not run Bell up the middle 3 times and punt.

He’s not and will never be a top WR. Idiot incompetent jets better not sign him to a big money deal. I want him gone.

Brian Costello made a couple of excellent points about keeping Gase, that we've got to take into consideration ... he gets this from covering the Jets beyond just the games ... from being in their offices, locker rooms, and around the principle people & players through the losses and wins to date ... from being the Jets beat writer for quite some time ...
... after the victory he saw Gase and Douglas in the locker room in a decent mood ... with Gase actually smiling ... and sensed that this franchise is more aligned than he's seen it since the Rex Ryan-Mike Tannenbaum days ... Gase, Douglas and team president Hymie Elhai are all on the same page and these three will agree on a plan and see it through. There won’t be finger-pointing about the coaching or the roster talent, like with Idzik and Rex fighting or Todd Bowles and Mike the fucking idiot Maccagnan having pretty much no relationship or fighting with people on the business side ... beating the Steelers was not pretty, but we all have seen the Jets lose games exactly like this one all to often ... hey ... like in the first Bills game - a 17 - 16 loss - but not this time ... are the times changing??? ... hope Costello is right about this ... so now on to the Bills ... only regret is that we can't damage their playoff situation ...

Looking over all the press for the JETS D performance, I worry that JERRY JONES is-a comin' for OUR Gregg Williams. Jerry ALWAYS fucks up great defenses; he stole Deion from the Niners and he took Jason Fatbastard from us in 2004.
Pray children

Pray children I may be wrong about this but I don't think Jerry's style of management and William's coaching philosophy would clash. In an ideal world, the HC job of the Cowboys would be desirable but the selected candidate would have to be a Jerry Jones ass kisser or extremely diplomatic and keep his mouth shut and do what Jerry wants. I don't see Williams as this type of guy. Anyway, I hope Williams stays with the Jets and he gets back the all the injured players on the Jets D.

Williams' autonomy - I'm holding the other end of this stick. I think Jerry is fed up with Garrett and is willing to clash with Williams - does anyone else see the similarities between GW and Jimmy Johnson? Williams is a guy that could grab hold of that division. I am sure Jerry got wood when Williams called out OBJ(who didn't?)

However the deal breaker in my mind is repeated clashes between the two, coupled with the same mediocre results under Garrett. I don't follow the Cowboys so I'm also wondering if the Dallas fan base has turned on Garrett. I don't think Dallas has a problem putting fans in the seats on Sunday so its not like the Jets where Met Life was populated with Terrible towel wavers on Sunday.

Garrett trends on twitter when Dallas plays for all the wrong reasons. Any cowboy fan I know is done with him. My guess is 75% of fanbase wants him gone. Every name I hear Jerry going after is a known offensive type...Matt Ruhle, Lincoln Riley, Greg Roman, etc.

Looking at Green Bay last night, It's Mike Pettine's defense that is keeping them competitive. Matt LaFleur looks like he's along for the ride IMHO. The Vikes presented no cohesion on the OL without Dalvin Cook. Rodgers unleashed hell, only after GB's defense broke their will. Look at the start of the 4th quarter
