One was playing the Redskins with better weapons, the other was playing the Steelers.
Calm down.
He has the best toolbox of any Jets QB in my lifetime.

Better in every way. They have 3 first round picks this year. 11 first and second round picks in the next 2 years. They have a real coach who the players want to play hard for, not a wacko eyed nincompoop. They rid themselves of ga.se. They r Just better for that. I have a relevant question: What are the J E T S uniform colors? No guessing. Same color as puke. Or toxic nuclear waste. How happy is Anthony Barr and how miserable is CJ Mosley right about now?

Yeah - I’m sure he’d rather be icing his groin in New Jersey with frozen gold coins that maccaghan paid him than preparing for a SB run with the best team in the league.

Yeah, and you're in here, icing everyone else's groin. Leave my JETS boner alone dude. Not since Chad defeated a Belidick defense 31-17 have I felt this good...

Darnold is only 22 years old playing behind a pretty crappy O line. Give him some protection and Jet fans will start having fun again. Jonotthan Harrison is a serviceable center but upgrades are needed all around. I'd keep Harrison if the price is right as a backup and in the interim see if he can play other positions on the O line. The Khalil experiment was a bust and he needs to go back into retirement. Other than that, start drafting O line in 2020 and spend some FA money too.

Agreed Harrison is still under contract next year for $2.2 million. If the Jets beat the Bills on Sunday, they’ll most likely be picking in the #12-14 range. Good chance that the Top 3 OT’s are off the board by then, but that’s right in the range where a guy like Tyler Biadasz should enter the discussion. He’s the best center prospect in recent memory IMO. I like him more that I liked Bradbury last year and Minnesota took him 18th overall. If I’m Douglas, I’m not reaching on one of the lesser OT’s just for the sake of taking one. Thomas, Wirfs and Wills are the only ones worth taking in the Top 20. If those guys are gone, then I’m all about Biadasz or a WR like Tee Higgins. Maybe even someone like Lamb or Jeudy falls but I doubt it. Higgins would complement Robby and Crowder VERY well. Classic X receiver. And I think you pretty much have to bring back Robby at this point. I’m not a huge fan of his, but Darnold has chemistry with him and he could turn into a bigger threat with a legit #1 across from him.

we still have more wins, and against better opponents. plus Darnold was out for several weeks and we a holey OL Not to mention that Jones puts the ball on the ground every time he's so much as sneezed on. Kid has 12 fumbles in 12 games

No reaching for the O line in the draft but I don't want any of this best guy available bullshit either and take a Tight End or D Line. Book End tackles, Center, Guard, CB, Stud WR. I don't give a shit how the Jets upgrade the O line, the draft would be great or through FA. Just do it.

Couple of scouting reports on Biadasz
PROS: Heart and soul of one of the best offensive fronts in the country (2017 and 2018). Takes pride in executing assignments and completing tasks successfully. Shows the demeanor and nastiness in order to galvanize an entire group. Loves the process of battles. Fights and strains during every second of plays and displays the want to of playing through the conclusion of plays. Filled out frame in all portions, which are put to good use. Country strength is an easy term to use to describe just how overbearing his natural strength can be for interior defenders. When able to firmly grip and latch on, Biadasz makes it difficult for rushers to disengage from him. Punch timing and locations remained consistent and enables many winning repetitions.
CONS: Has a propensity of mixing up his approaches when blocking certain techniques. These various techniques lead to a mixture of different postures and stances with his lower half. Sometimes his base is too wide, while others it will be too narrow. Large reason why he finishes some plays on his knees or completely falling off balance to the ground.
Plays in an offense that requires much of their damage to be done in the box. Heavy run-oriented attack, but when running screens or when he’s required to attack the perimeter to execute certain blocks, there’s a bit of a delay involved. Can’t be relied on to consistently be able to execute blocks on the move outside of the box. Active second-level defenders scraping over the top have had success against him.
PROS: Absolute war daddy who can beat interior defenders in so many different ways. He's nimble, light footed and fluid when he's looking to play out in space or scrape laterally to get leverage on reach blocks. Alternatively, he'll uproot defenders in drive block situations with good leg drive, effective lower body power and a potent punch. Grip strength and hand placement are effective, he'll turn you out of gaps in short order thanks to how tight he keeps bodies in close quarters. Scheme transcendent player with terrific football IQ already despite just being a RS Sophomore in 2018.
CONS: Will have a hard time finding persistent issues on film -- I genuinely feel he would have been the top interior offensive lineman in the 2018 NFL Draft had he chose to declare and enter early. Pedigree at Wisconsin has groomed him for life on the big stage but playing in such a run heavy offense could mask some technical issues given volume of work playing forward or resetting the LOS. I doubt it, though. All around stud of a player.
PROS - Ass-kicker that moves people against their will with consistency. Routinely resets the line of scrimmage in the run game and generates movement. Terrific power throughout his frame that combines with sound technique that makes him a devastating run blocker. A wall in pass protection. Does well to frame rushers and anchor. Good mobility to slide laterally and stay square. Refined with his hand usage in terms of timing, placement, fits and his strikes carry a ton of pop. Football IQ is a notable strength. Timing and execution of his assignments in concert with the play design is precise. Easily diagnosis and anticipates pressure packages, twists and stunts. Takes excellent angles as a vertical blocker and does well to connect on the move. Has made 27 consecutive starts at center for the Badgers after redshirting in 2016.
CONS - Had an offseason surgery to “clean up his hip” and it kept him sidelined for spring practices. Is outstanding with his hand usage but it’s clear that he lacks ideal length, making his timing and technique all that much more important. Has a tendency to narrow his base at times and take away from his functional strength.
