I keed... It could work out well. Gailey was always a good OC, just a poor HC.

in terms of our own personnel, the Bowles and Gailey hirings are especially good news for three players: Wilkerson, Harvin, and Genope. for Wilkerson... Bowles is a Temple guy, and possibly the only coach in the league who could convince Mo not to follow Rex to the Bills for Harvin... lives off of 'space' and is thus a perfect fit for Gailey's offense. for Genope... Gailey's offense suits Genope's strengths. who else could thrive in an offense like Gailey? Marcus Mariotta. honorable mention to Quinton Coples. Rex seemed to tell Coples to do the opposite of what he was built for. same with Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson, among countless other players. Bowles will turn Coples into his own little Calais Campbell Isn't the Bills DL even more stacked than ours?

Leave it to the Jets to rebuild their organization on the 13th of the month. Sounds lucky.

My concern is that his offenses have never really had any success passing the ball - somehow his best year was in 2008 with the chiefs under Herm...with Tyler Thigpen, Damon Huard and Brodie Croyle at QB

Quinn / Shanahan was no longer worth waiting for since Denver entered the fray as the Jets may have been left with scraps after the SB.
This is obviously their second choice at best. It feels a bit hollow especially seeing us name Gailey as OC.
This has the feel of the Rex regime. Keep the 3-4 and get an old retread OC with an assembly of no-name assistants.

Isn't the Bills DL even more stacked than ours? arguably yes, arguably no. doesn't mean Rex wouldn't want Mo next year, especially if Mario shows any signs of slowing. Dareus, Williams, Wilkerson, Mario would be sick

Anyone know if Arizona runs a 3-4 or 4-3? Mainly 3-4 but they switch to 4-3 from time to time...interesting. Switched to 4-3 for the Cowboys game this year to shut down Murray.

Anyone know if Arizona runs a 3-4 or 4-3? Bowles' whole reputation is that he adjusts accordingly to the talent he's given. that said, Arizona's defense is equipped very similarly to ours. the front-7 players are in the same mold. you could say it leans more towards 3-4. that's not to say Bowles won't change here. Richardson and Wilkerson is similar to Dockett and Campbell, but i'm not sure they had a player of Snack's caliber at that position.
