Seeing the Mac personally scouted and drafted Mallet it will be interesting to see if he actually goes after Mallet to compete with Geno. My prediction is he will with a bad QB draft and free agency there isn't much out there to choose from. Since he knows, scouted, and drafted Mallet plus the Jets greatest need is QB, I figure that might be the first player he signs. Thoughts?

Geno, Simms, Mallet/Moore/Locker/whoever, a late round pick...
Bring em in and let them fight to the bloody death. Beef up theoline, run the ball, conservative passing game, kickass D. Good for 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7, maybe a shot at a wildcard, maybe not. Competitive football in 2015. Look out 2016...

He's perfect for Gailey's version of the spread.
Let him ride the bench behind Geno and someone like Mallett or Moore for a year or at least for the first 8-10 weeks of the season.

Lots of love to go around with Parker, White, DGB - even guys like Strong, Hardy are strong candidates. no more idzik to fuck this one up. |

Take a chance on Bradford he's good when healthy if we keep him heallthy but I fuckin doubt it will that bum at rg and rt tackle might as well keep 3 lineman in like street football , they'll block better
